    quick question (link 2 texts)

    User-7

Hello, what is the easiest way to connect 2 words in a large document I have? example: go to example 5. and "example 5" should be clickable. I read the tutorials about cross reference but I still cant figure out how to do it. There must be a quick way to to it without messing with paragraph styles and text boxes. Thanx in advance

You don't need styles to make cross-references work, but you certainly will find using them in long documents will in general make your life easier.

As for a quick way, no. You need to set the hyperlink destination and build the cross-ref through the panel. Read the tutorial again, or google for video tutorials.
