    Prevent caching of swf files

      Hi all,

I am working on a webpage that is updated by my clients via xml and uploading new files to re-write old files (image and videos).

The problem I am having is that my client's browsers (Firefox, IE, Chrome, Safari, etc.) all cache the swf, flv, and jpg files, so when the page is updated they cannot see the updates.

I have been trying to figure out from other pages how to either PREVENT caching, or to re-load the swf, flv, and jpgs each time, but I haven't been able to. I have looked at the coding HERE and HERE, but I'm not getting very far.

The webpage is ALL flash-based and basically calls all the swf, flv, and jpg files through the loadMovie function.

The one page suggests putting coding in the header of the html file, however, it also states that this doesn't work for all browsers.

      Any thoughts or ideas?
