I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. You can turn off the Typekit font sync option in the Creative Cloud application, under Preferences > Creative Cloud > Fonts ("Typekit on/off"):

Make sure you're logged into your Adobe ID in the Creative Cloud desktop app. In the CC app (menu bar on Mac, task bar in Windows), click the "gear" icon > Preferences > General > Sign Off. Then Sign in with your Adobe ID.
