    Rollover Text

    FRS_Industries
      I have a page on the web where i have a whole bunch of stock images. I want to custom to be able to put their mouse on top of the image and a roll over text appears that says the stock image number. How do I do this?

          Add that content to the TITLE attribute of the image, e.g.,

          <img title="your stock number" alt="whatever" src="...">

            Use the ALT="NumberHere" command in the image link

              Buzzer. That would only work in IE. None of the other browsers treat alt
              attribute content as a tooltip.

                Okay well I had done that and it didnt work and i kept trying to figure out what was going on because i knew it was something real simple. I am working on a mac and i went and checked on the PC and it works just fine on any PC but not on any of our macs, can anyone shed some light on this subject for me??? Thanks!!

                  If you used the incorrect alt attribute suggestion then I've already told
                  you why it doesn't work.

                  if you have used the proper title attribute, then you must have implemented
                  it incorrectly and we'd need to see your code.
