I am setting up a InDesign document with a justified text box that butts to the edge of the document. The ascender portion of some italic letters (the "f" for example) extends outside the text box and gets cut off when I output the document to PDF. Is there a way to force italicized text to remain inside the confines of the text box? I have already thought of using "text inset" or including a small bleed space on the document but those seem like work-arounds. I am hoping there is a way to change this behavior from within the InDesign style settings. (see image attached)
I agree, but the document I am creating needs to be able to fit precisely (imported) within an existing layout, hence my need to "print to the edge."
