How to save two different editings/ versions of one source image?
What I've tried already:
- assigned a photo to two different collections - but when I edit/change one photo, the one in the other collection changes too.
- created a copy of the source image via filemanager (new name: "filename -copy"), "imported" it into LR-collection: didn't work either
Thing is: I think theres no "virtual copy" function like in LR for desktop. However, I SOMEHOW achieved what I'm asking for here - two versions in one collection. I just can't reproduce how I did that. :-/
Hope someone can help here. Thanks in advance!
Yeah unfortunately , you cannot create virtual copy in Lightroom mobile app.
Rather than name-copy , change the complete name of file and check.
The only thing you can do is create the virtual copy on your desktop and sync it too.
In LrM you can always save the photo to the camera roll (or whatever it's called on Android), import that into LrM and make further edits to it. Afterwards in LrDesktop you can copy those settings to a new virtual copy. Not much fun though.
