I used to get a kind of start screen when opening InDesign CC. Now there's no start workspace and I just look at the normal panels surrounding a black background.
When opening illustrator, I get the "start" workspace.
After I attempted to change the language of InDesign the start screen disappeared. It also seems to be taking much longer time to start up.
I've already tried to delete the InDesign preferences, with no success. Also uninstalled everything and reinstalled with no effect.
To show what screen I'm talking about, I've attached Illustrator's start workspace.
I just want to return the app to it's default state, so any help is much appreciated.
Hi Steve. I tried that prior to writing this post. I tried again right now for good measure. Still nothing.
I got in touch with Adobe on their chat service. We solved it by changing the language in the creative cloud desktop app, then we reinstalled InDesign.
