You can't use Shapes in older version of Illustrator, it requires the Library panel in the Creative Cloud versions of our desktop apps, but you can bring them into Draw.
When you have a canvas open in Draw, tap on the Shapes (triangle/circle) icon in the upper nav. You'll see to tabs in the menu that opens one is App Shapes and the other is My Library (or whatever your default library is). Your Capture CC shapes will be in there.
Hope that helps.
Hi Sue--thank you for the information. Sad to hear I can't use in my version of illustrator.
So, in draw, I do not have a Shapes icon anywhere, in any nav. I have just downloaded the app, and it's updated, is this possibly due to my version of iPhone (5s?).
I only have brushes menu, layers, and saving options. I am able to save it to CC, but not able to bring something from CC into Draw.
thanks very much for the feedback,
Nope, it's not that your phone is old, it's that it's an iPhone. Right now, that feature is only in the iPad version of the app. But... it's coming to iPhone. Pretty soon I think.
