I found that the folder that I store my images in has 3000 images, but my Lightroom library only has 2400. I tried importing from that folder again, but it says there are no new images. I tried synchronizing with that folder, but it said the same thing again. I can't figure out why I can't get some of the images from that folder into my lightroom library. I have file handling on "add", and I'm on a mac.
Any reason Lightroom is thinking it's imported all the photos even though I can't find some and the count doesn't add up?
Is this just happening with a single folder or all the other folders?
May I also know the version of Lightroom?
Images you have in a folder, are they all Jpeg's & Raw or just one format, if they are both then follow the below steps so that Lightroom can see jpeg's as a separate image.
Open Lightroom >> Click on Lightroom Menu on top bar >> Preferences >> General Tab
Under the Import Options, please check the option "Treat JPEG files next to raw files as Separate Photos"
Restart Lightroom and try synchronizing with same folder
Let us know if that helps.
