Hi! I am new to After Effects and have created a simple 2d character that moves and sings to a song I have recorded. The song is an mp3, the character is all in one composition, and I have tried using the "export to Adobe Media Encoder Queue" with the composition highlighted. I set my output format to H.264 and says its using Mercury Playback Engine GPU Accerleration (OpenCL) at the bottom of the screen. However, when I open the MP4 ...it just plays the audio from the mp3 and does not show any video. I opened it with Windows Media Player which I have been able to watch mp4 on in the past. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? T
First make sure that you are previewing your comp using the Active Camera view in the Composition Panel. That's the only view that will render. Second, make sure your workflow is correct by following the recommendations in the third video in this series: Basic Workflow. I would recommend that you choose one of the You Tube or Vimeo presets that match your comp's frame size.
OOPS.. First make sure that your AE is up to date.
I just used the ipad setting that was in the video and it worked. even though I dont have an ipad...it still looks right on my windows computer and my phone. Thanks!
