    Only audio Rendering

I'm new (ish) to After Effects and I was trying to render my new composition. After adding it to render queue and formatting it, I hit Render. Afterwards all I receive is a blank screen that appears to be rendering, but doesn't show anything but black. Once the (hour long) render is complete the output file is only the audio from my movie. Could someone PLEASE help? I put many hours into my work and it's very disturbing that it won't render

Make sure that you have the latest version of AE. There was a bug with some formats.

For final render I would use the Adobe Media Encoder and create a universally h.264 MP4 using one of the standard templates. The Render Cue is better suited to crating digital intermediates and archival copies of your projects in a lossless or visually lossless format. AME is the right tool for rendering the final product for consumption.
