Unable to install flash player for firefox. due to intitialisation error - never had this problem before now

I'm on windows 8.1, latest firefox version.

Hi,

I'll need to get some installation log files from you to investigate further.  Please review the FAQ Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on Windows? and provide all 3 files listed (FlashInstall.log, Adobe_ADM.log, and Adobe_GDE.log).  Upload the files to cloud.acrobat.com using the instructions How to share a document or a file sharing service of your choice.  Post the link the the uploaded files in your reply.


Alternatively, you can download the offline installer posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier page in the 'Still having problems' section. However, it'd be great if you could provide the log files so that we can troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Thanks a lot for all the info, which I regret I was not up to actioning, but my wife sorted it all out for me this morning by installing it 'off line'- she is a genius!
