Could you please attach a screen shot of Lightroom, also are you trying to export the images from Collection or Folders.
Also when you select an image, are you able to right click on the image and select the option for Export ?
And does the Export window show ?

Yes I can right click an image, the export option shows, and takes me to the same export dialogue box, with the same issue.
Are you working on a Windows computer or MAC ?
Also what is the screen resolution of the monitor ?
I am on a Toshiba Windows laptop. The laptop has a 4k screen, but is connected to an NEC Monitor. After receiving your question I changed the monitor display settings to the max, and the export button is now showing. However, the image on my NEC monitor is not good at this resolution (must be some conflict between the laptop and monitor). I think that has fixed it, and I need to find the best resolution.
Strange thing is, I have not changed the monitor resolution...the problem just occurred.

You are Welcome, I would suggest you to please go to the Preferences of Lightroom.
And then the Interface Tab, in there please change the Font Size to Small.
Restart Lightroom , and then see if it helps.
If the above steps does not work, try to lower the screen resolution of your Laptop and then check in Lightroom for the Export option .
I changed the resolution to 2048 x 1152, and the display seems pretty good.

I have done everything you said and I still have no export option can you help?
Since I raised the initial query I have changed my laptop but kept the same NEC monitor. I do still get the issue occasionally (I don't know why it just occurs sometimes). When it happens, I open the lid of my laptop so I can see LR on the laptop screen (as well as the large NEC screen). The 'export' button is then visible on the laptop. It doesn't happen often, so I put up with it. Am now on LR Classic, same issue.
