I have been to Microsoft, Adobe and I get the same thing from everyone. Is there a way to get my flash player to work and if so how.
I think it would be simple just to update my flash player, but for the past four days I have been trying unsuccessfully.
I am going around in circles and getting nowhere. I need to have someone tell me if this problem is with my computer or another source.
As of Windows 8, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in Internet Explorer and all updates are distributed by Microsoft, not Adobe.
In addition to verifying Flash Player is enabled, please ensure ActiveX Filtering is disabled, see Fix ActiveX problems in Flash Player on Internet Explorer.
Today is patch Tuesday, which means Microsoft will be releasing all sorts of updates, including an update to Flash Player for IE. I don't know when they'll make this live, as the update has not yet posted to Microsoft Security Advisory 2755801. You can check that page later today, or run Windows Update later today or tomorrow to install the updates.
