Many thanks for your advice, it has helped me to understand a little bit about the problem.
Do you know where I can find my proxy username and password?

I have had the exact same thing occurring here, all the Macs are prompting for Proxy authentication repeatedly... over and over.
The solution for us which is working seems to be the following:
- We finally had all the required proxy exceptions added to our corporate firewall white list, This is the official Adobe list of the exceptions to be used Adobe Creative Cloud Network Endpoints (PDF).
- Not sure why but i had to set Automatic Proxy Configuration (points to a .pac file) and set the Web Proxy (http) manually entered proxy address and port e.g.: 80.
Seems to work for us, Creative Cloud no longer prompts repeatedly for proxy authentication. I can only assume that Creative Cloud App has a BUG. It currently does not fully support Automatic Proxy Configuration .pac files and requires and manual proxy override when needed. I'm using Version 188.8.131.522 which is the latest at time of writing.
Hope this helps
