No matter if I use LightRoom, Capture1, DxO, Photoshop, or Bridge they all interpret the ARW files really dark.
My current project had me shooting video and stills at the same time. I used the Slog2 profile since it's amazing for video work but I'm finding my photos are really dark and overly saturated.
However, in-camera, they looked great. Exposure was right on, ISO looked good, white balance was nice.
I import them and they are so dark and over saturated. Even right after I import them they look great until LightRoom or Bridge or PS adds some sort of adjustment to them that, like I've said, makes them really dark and over saturated.
Please help!! What am I missing here?
Slog is for video. The raw pixel data in still images shot while using slog video mode *is* really dark and the camera is doing image manipulation to produce the JPG the same as it does for the video you're shooting in slog mode.
