You shouldn't need the crossdomain.xml file on your server. Have the video server admins check to make sure the syntax for the crossdoamin.xml file is correct and it's placed in the right location.
I'm curious, what *should* the crossdomain file say, and where should it be. I am looking at it now, and it says:
<allow-access-from domain="*.domain.ca" />
<site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="master-only" />
and it is at http://video.domain.ca/crossdomain.xml
Is this right, or did we miss something?
As a side note...I'm wondering if somewhere in my code, I am calling this wrong (this is the first time I have tried doing this). My code is attached.
Everything looks alright except:
The crossdomain.xml file should be hosted at the root of your server, which is www.domain.ca not at video.domain.ca. Also, I couldn't hit your crossdomain.xml file thru the browser so it's missing in the video domain.
Happy coding. Adobe Crossdomain Docs
