I have downloaded some vector graphics in ai that have text in nice fonts and follow complex paths. i would like to use the clipart but modify the text.
images are from adobe stock, trying to modify in adobe illustrator or indesign.
each letter of the graphic seems to be a vector image (vs. text in a font i can just change). do you really have to change each letter and recreate the text? if so that's cumbersome... hope i'm just missing something basic.
That sometimes depends on the image. If the original font was altered to be more stylish or what ever, then it is no longer a font, it's an image.
