Hi, I'm wondering what the most time-efficient way is for rendering a video a few minutes long that is full of motion graphics for youtube? What I am doing, is I made the beginning logo, then rendered that composition, then imported it back so I dont have to re-render it and then started making some motion graphics but it starts to get very slow very quickly, so I have to again render another few seconds of video and then re-import the whole composition and rinse and repeat. Is there a way where I dont have to constantly keep rendering and importing for long videos filled with motion graphics?
We can't know. we know nothing about your system, your version of AE, the files you are working with, what kinds of effects and animation you add to your files and a gigazillion other things.
That's a really stinky workaround. As Mylenium says, we need lots more information.
Please look at the FAQs for the information we need to help you.
Also please look for a blog called, "Getting Started With After Effects". You really need it.
