Every time I import in to lightroom I always have it create a subfolder with the location of the job. Suddenly even if the box is ticked to place in subfolder, it dumps them to the main folder (the one the sub was supposed to be in). I can edit and adjust as usual but they arent synced either. I have to go in and manually create subfolder and move the files, plus re-sync folder in lightroom. Is anyone else having this issue suddenly? im on MAC 10.10.5 and Lr CC 2015.3
ETA: I just tried another import, same situation, and this time I unchecked and then re-checked "into subfolder," and that caused the subfolder to appear in the destination panel...wonder if this is a bug?
This is happening for me as well. I've been using LR a long time, and often use "into subfolder" with no issues. Lately I've been importing files from an optical disc, specifying (a not yet existing) subfolder, but all files get dumped loose into parent folder, without subfolder being created. I'm attaching screenshot.
