delete "file could not be found" image from library

I recently had a hiccup in importing from my iphoto library; somehow all existing files were imported again (I have no idea how). I searched around for a way to delete duplicate files and clean up, and went with Photosweeper Lite (which had reasonably good reviews). Ran the program, and indeed duplicates have been marked and deleted, but now when I open adobe lightroom I have the same number of photos in my collection set from iphoto, yet the first of every duplicate doesn't exist (i get the "file could not be found" error message). Is there a way to "reset" my library? Tried restarting my computer haha.... that didn't work. Please help!

(In other words, is there a way to efficiently delete "file could not be found" pics??)
