    Sharing Files CC and CS6

I'm interning with a company in the UK. My boss has Adobe CC and I have Adobe CS6. After a long chat with support, she was told that I did not have to purchase Adobe CC and that we should be able to share files just fine. However when I attempted to open her files on my laptop it says "the project is damaged, cannot open."

After chatting with support again, I was instructed to ask in Forums.

Can some please help? Is it possible to share project files between Adobe CC and Adobe CS6?

Project files are generally NOT backwards compatible due to new features in CC which mean internal changes in the projects

You might ask about work arounds in the forums for the specific programs

If you will start at the Forums Index https://forums.adobe.com/welcome

You will be able to select a forum for the specific Adobe product(s) you use

Click the "down arrow" symbol on the right (where it says See all our Products and Services) to open the drop down list and scroll
