Hello! I was wondering if Adobe has plans to release other Indian script typefaces, such as Malayalam, Telugu and Oriya/Odia, possibly even Sinhala, in the near future? The ones that have been released so far are very good and easy to use in InDesign.
Also, are there plans to extend Devanagari to include alternate letterforms, like Nepali and Newari versions of "jha"? (see attached image)
One critique is that Adobe Devanagari doesn't have the correct form of "tra" set as default. Using the style sets changes more than I'd want for Hindi. Thanks!
The image is taken from SIL's page on their Annapurna Devanagari font which has many similar features to Monotype's Devanagari font, including archaic letterforms.
