Move to start or end line when selecting text

    unclebass

Move to start or end line when selecting type. On the extended keyboard, END selects all the text from insertion pain to end including hidden type to the end of the text box, What is the command on the newer wireless, shorter keyboards?

Try the Fn key (bottom left) and an arrow key, maybe Right Arrow.

fn + shift + left arrow             =   Selects and Highlight texts from the Insertion Point to the end of the line.

cmd + shift + down arrow     =   Selects and Highlight texts from Insertion point up to the end of Paragraph

cmd + shift + left arrow         =   Selects and Highlight texts from the Insertion Point to end of a Word

shift + down arrow                =   Selects and highlight texts from the Insertion Point up to the next line of text where the                                                       Insertion Point was Inserted from Previous line of text (sounds confusing)

fn + left arrow                         =  Moves the cursor from the Insertion Point to the End of the Line without highlighting texts

cmd + down arrow                 =  Moves the cursor from Insertion Point to the Beginning of the Next Paragraph

fn + cmd + left arrow              = Moves the cursor from the Insertion Point to the End of Story.

              Thanks for the reply but

fn + cmd + left arrow              = Moves the cursor from the Insertion Point to the End of Story.

This command doesn't seem to work on a Mac.

Thats what I really need to work. Any other thoughts?

I'm sorry. I just messed up. It's not left arrow. It's right arrow.

fn + shift + right arrow        =   Selects and Highlight texts from the Insertion Point to the end of the line.
cmd + shift + down arrow=   Selects and Highlight texts from Insertion point up to the end of Paragraph
cmd + shift + right arrow    =   Selects and Highlight texts from the Insertion Point to end of a Word
shift + down arrow           =   Selects and highlight texts from the Insertion Point up to the next line of text where the                                         Insertion Point was Inserted from Previous line of text (sounds confusing)

fn + right arrow                    =  Moves the cursor from the Insertion Point to the End of the Line without highlighting texts
cmd + down arrow            =  Moves the cursor from Insertion Point to the Beginning of the Next Paragraph
fn + cmd + right arrow         = Moves the cursor from the Insertion Point to the End of Story.
