Woke up to do Freelance and ID CC is telling me that I'm missing the following plug-in but I was just using the software on Monday with no problem......missing plug-in is "UI.InDesignPlugin". I believe this happened to my Supervisor at work and she was on the phone with support and he was remotely accessing her computer to fix it. Happy to do that but having trouble finding a direct number to contact Adobe, the site directed be back to the forum.
Did you try restarting the computer?
Yes, I restarted and received the same missing plug-in alert when trying to open InDesign CC. I can not get the CC window to open either when clicking on the icon, its either white or the wheel is running.
Does it work if you log onto the machine using a different user?
If it does, the problem is in the user account, and trashing the prefs there may help (see Replace Your Preferences). If not, you'll probably need to reinstall.
