I have created a form in Adobe LiveCycle which contains a number of Dynamic features to include expanding fields and buttons to add and delete rows. This form needs to be 508 compliant (accessible for persons who are visually impaired) and therefore, needs to have tags. As a Dynamic PDF, the form cannot be tagged in Adobe but when I save it as a Static Form, it can be tagged. The issue is that when it is saved as a Static Form, all Dynamic features cease to function. The expanding fields are a set size and the buttons can be clicked but nothing happens.
Therefore, my question is, may InDesign be used to create a PDF Form with the Dynamic features I need (expanding fields and buttons to add and delete rows) which may also be tagged for 508 compliance?
No, InDesign cannot create dynamic (XML-based) forms. It creates "Acroforms," the same kind as Acrobat Pro.
