Im working on an uploader for a work project using Flex 3 Pro
with 3.2 SDK installed. I am communicating with an ASP.NET web
service which handles the file writing. I finished my proof of
concept and started doing some QC when i came across a
bug/limitation. Whenever i try to load a File that is larger than
1GB the plugin just crashes. No debug information is sent out. No
Is anyone aware of a limitation in possibly the ByteArray
class or the FileReference class that would be causing this? Is
there a work around for loading large files?
Under the upload method im not using but pretty much answers
my questiong with 'You're SOL':
Starts the load of a local file selected by a user. Although
Flash Player has no restriction on the size of files you can
upload, download, load or save, the player officially supports
sizes of up to 100 MB. You must call the FileReference.browse() or
FileReferenceList.browse() method before you call this method.
