The lack of support from Abobe is disgusting!.
I have Lightroom 6 along with elements 13 on pc. Everything is up to date.
I work on 3 or more images in Lightroom 6, then I right click> Edit in> Open as layers in Photoshop, as I want to work on them in Elements as layers. Easy right? no. After I try sending them, Elements will open up the editor and nothing appears. About 30 secs in Lightroom I get a error message saying, The files can not be edited because Abobe Elements editor can not be launched. I have googled this and other people with cc have the problem but still no one has the answer. This is driving me nuts with frustration as I have paid money and it just don't work. Is there a way to get in contact with these people?
Thanks for any help,
Oh I have the stand alone Lightroom 6.
Its not a problem with Adobe. Photoshop Elements and Photoshop are two entirely different programs. You can only open as layers in the full Photoshop. If you want to open layers you will have to subscribe to the CC version Instead of using Lr 6 and Elements.
I'm aware they are two separate programs. I used to use Lightroom 5 with elements 12 and It allowed me to do what I can't do now, which is why I find this frustrating. Was it something Adobe changed in a effort to force people into paying monthly?
They are designed to be compatible with each other so why take this option away when I know for a fact I have made use of this feature in past.
Just because lot's of people don't mind paying £10 a month doesn't mean we all want too.
