The 8.2 patch will only install on subscription installs of CS6, but it won't help with the "blurry" problem in any case. CS6 was not optimized for Retina or other high-resolution monitors and has reached end-of-life. There will be no patches to address this. Retina support was added when the program was rebuilt for the CC version.
The "Adobe Photoshop 13.0.6 update for CS6" helped greatly with the blurriness of Photoshop.
What do you mean by only installing on subscription installs of CS6? Does this mean I should uninstall and re-install?
(I'm not exactly a tech person...)
Thank you so much!
Photoshop was optimized for 64-bit operating systems and support for Retina added earlier than InDesign.
CS6 applications are included as part of a Creative Cloud subscription, or you may have a traditional perpetual license. The InDesign 8.2 update is only available to users who have CS6 installed as part of their Creative Cloud subscription package.
Illustrator and Photoshop CS6 were both updated for retina screens. InDesign’s programming is completely different and it couldn’t be done without re-writing the application from the ground up.
You have two choices: Upgrade to Creative Cloud or learn to live with it.
And if this the biggest complaint you have with El Capitan, consider yourself lucky.
Oh great, Thank you very much!
I'm not running El Capitan yet, fyi.
Sorry, so where can I download the newest Illustrator update? I can't seem to find it on their "Product Updates"
I'm running 16.0.0 and its still blurry
If you’re having Illustrator issues you’ll get way more help in the Illy forum.
that one worked, thank you.
Ugh I hate this. I buy a computer for Design and it looks like crap.
If I had the choice I would update to CC but it's company programs. Not my decision to update or not. IM SO ANNOYED
