Hello, I've used the key frame assistant>sequence layers in the animation menu before but I can't get it right this time.I click alt + right end bracket but layer 6, in the top shot extends far beyond the cut-off point where layer 7 ends. The bottom shot is the 'sequence layers' dialog box. This is very simple cartoon animation of 5 mouth shapes and I'm using a basic workflow. Thanks.
You need to trim the layers before you sequence them. At the moment, they're 15 frames long, or longer.
Thanks for the help, one more question. I drew two pairs of eyes, in the same PSD with some mouth shapes, in photoshop for a cartoon character and was going to get them to blink in After Effects using key frames but I can't find the right video on youtube. Any advice? Thanks.
Make a precomp for the eyes and a precomp for the mouth shapes. Sequence the layers. Then use time remapping in your main comp to switch between mouth shapes and eye shapes.
