The program launches and pops up with multiple error messages, claiming certain plug ins aren't found on my device. Then, after I've done some work and apply a gradient overlay on a solid, the program stops working, and as always, windows can't find a solution to the problem, and the program crashes. I have really recently updated to CC15, and I'm now running windows 10. Am I missing some files? Was there a problem with the update? Do I have any easy options...?
What OS did you used to have? What, exact, version number of AE are you running (is it 13.6.1)?
What is the exact text of the error messages when you launch AE?
It sounds like you should uninstall everything, run the Adobe CC Cleaner tool and then reinstall.
That was my initial thought as well. Where can I find the CC cleaner? I've already uninstalled AE so I'm not sure the exact errors or version no. I previously ran windows 8 and upgraded recently. Thanks for your help.
