The Canon 5DSR was first supported in Lightroom 6.
So you'll be able to view JPGs from that camera in Lightroom 5 but not Raw files.
- Upgrade to Lightroom 6, or
- Join the Cloud and get Lightroom CC, or
- Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all RAW files from the 5DSR to DNG format then edit the DNGs in Lightroom 5
Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC
There's no problem for Lightroom with the files being larger provided you've got the hard drive space to hold them.
Thank You for your quick reply. If I upgrade to Ltr 6 will I then be able to download in Raw? I have heard
there are problems with Ltr 6. What have you heard? What would you do?
Again thank you, you guys are the best.
You can download the trial for LR 6 and find out if it works for you. The trial always runs as LR CC and if you decide not to go with the subscription and buy a LR 6 serial number instead, then Dehaze will disappear until a pay-for LR 7 upgrade assuming there will be a LR 7.
I’d download LR 6.0 then update to LR 6.3 right away.
Thank You for your help.
