The attached filter should produce a black output image
regardless of the parameter, since according to the Pixel Bender
reference exp2(x) = pow(2,x).
When running it on the GPU this is actually the case while
running it on the CPU the output is a grayscale image depending on
One can change exp2 to exp and the base of the pow() function
to 2.718... and everything works fine: the output is all black
whether run on the GPU or CPU and is independent of the parameter
setting. So this seems to be an issue concerning the exp2
implementation for the CPU?
