In InDesign, I want a Drop Shadow on a clear box. Whenever, I turn off the color on the box & frame, the drop shadow disappears. Is there a way to keep the drop shadow but have a clear box? I know there is a way because unfortunately at work, I use CS6 on MAC and then CS3 on a virtual PC on the MAC. So, a previous employee has used this technique and I want to make that in CS3 on PC.
After I opened the effects box under window then clicked multiply it worked. I'm not sure what multiply is for but Thank You!
I'm using the clear box with a shadow as an accent frame on top of a photo. It looks pretty good. I turned up the opacity of shadow to 100% to be darker and change the spread setting of the drop shadow to 35% to make a larger shadow.
