Uhm, what? You want to drop a graphic page header with text box into an Indesign document and then a radio button menu shall pop up? This is what you wrote. But you messed it up completely.
You can make a document which has a graphic header and a text frame and a radio button and put this as snippet into your custom snippet window, but nothing will pop up.
By the way, what is a radio button menu?
A radio menu is like a checkbox menu but you can only select one option. EDIT: if you work better with visuals here.
That is what I wrote but your interpretation is messed up completely... Here's more detail. I will have a graphic that has a text box within it that when dropped into InDesign from a library will prompt a script to run thus opening a radio menu allowing me to choose from various categories which will then provide a different text within the graphic. Came for help not criticism. Thanks
You will need a script. This lot will be able to help.
The script will need to attach some sort of event listener that detects when a library item is placed. Where you get the different texts depends on how many and are they likely to change.
I will cross post in there and give you the CA on this one, thanks a ton for pointing me in the right direction!
After a small google search event listeners sound exactly what I need. I will have a 12 categories that wont likely change.
