Fireworks CS4 fails to open - Error c06d007e

    Ozmart44
When I try to open FW CS4 it progresses to 'Initializing Textures' then stops and memory use goes way up (1,500,000K +) then it eventually throws up the error message 'Unexpected Exception c06d007e.

I have tried uninstalling about 75% of my fonts as per a similar post. Not sure if this problem may be related to my new video card, an nVidia GeForce 9800GT. I had to roll back the drivers to an older version because the newest one was causing the pc to unexpectedly freeze and need rebooting.

      System: Vista 32-bit Ultimate
      System Memory: 2048 MB (DDR2-533 DDR2 SDRAM)

I had a similar problem for a while and found that downloading and
installing the latest drivers for my NVIDIA graphics card solved it.
          It's worth a try, Ozmart.
