Just bought the latest and greatest ASUS laptop with hi-res screen that is supposed to be tuned to run Photoshop. I am having the same issues with the UI font sizes.
This is really disappointing. Why am I paying a monthly subscription for the app if this has been an issue for several years now?
I have to use the app with a magnifying glass.....
OK, so I have to hack my registry to get your app to work? Why don't the preferences work they way they were advertised. I saw some of the options were "experimental" in the past, seems like the experiment was not successful when rolled into production.
Tried the hack on my ASUS running Windows 10, did not work. what next?
I am now running LR6 and PS CS6 on 4k ASUS Zenbook myself and creating a fake manifest seems to do the job and I can continue working.
This is just another example of ADOBE abandoning anything but the latest versions of software .........
I await the tirade of paid (or given free software) ADOBE apologists to respond to that one...... where is the KIWI?
I have the solution.
Navigate to the original file location.
Right click and select properties.
Select the Compatibility tab
tick the box: override high DPI scaling behaviour
scaling performed by. and also select "system" from the pull down menu
Click "apply" all done.
This works with Photoshop and Quark .... but I have not tried it with other programs yet
