I am not able to update Air to the newest version for several weeks now. I'm running Windows 10 (which is updated). I get an error message saying that installation may not be allowed by administrator, but I am the administrator. I have tried to uninstall the old version, but couldn't not get it to uninstall. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue and have now found how to install it.

Trying to install using "Run as Admin" is a waste of time and DOESN'T work,

I had to log in as Administrator and it installed instantly.

I hope that helps you.

This is for a home computer and with only one account on it, which is also the Administrator account (myself).

My account is an Administrator account as well but, I had to sign in with the Administrator account to do it.

If you have Win 10 home, I have no answer but, if it is the Pro version there is a separate Administrator

account that has to be made visible and that is the account you need. This link should help you.
