    Rendering Error in AE

    ekke4god

After Effects have just finished rendering an INTRO and at the end, received this error message:

"error: image buffers of size 23456 X 13664 @ 16bpc (2.4 GB) exceed internal limits. Decrease the memory requirements for the rendering of this frame (12804)

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE OFFER ANY HELP AS TO HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM?

Sometimes this can be fixed by holding down the shift key while you open Preferences>General. This will open up the Secret tab. Select that option and set your comp to PURGE every few frames.

If that doesn't fix it then you should open up all modified properties of all layers in your comp and look for something to change on the frame where the render fails. Start turning things off. Also check the Advanced tab of your composition settings and try and return things to the default values. Without knowing the details of your composition and your workflow it's impossible for us to guess at what might be going wrong.
