I can't seem to find a resolution to our printing problems from InDesign CS5.5... When we try to print from the program the printer starts but then stops and no document is printer.
The program prints fine from on of our Windows 7 machines to the same printer. The machine we are having this issue on is a Windows 10 machine. All the latest printer drivers are installed and the printing preferences and properties for the printer are the same as the Windows 7 machine.
Not sure if anyone else has had this type of issue on a Windows 10 machine. Would love to know the boards thoughts.
I think it is caused due to compatibility issues between CS5.5 and Windows 10.
You will have to upgrade to CC subscription to work flawless.
Export a PDF and print that. It’s a far better option than printing from InDesign and CS5.5 is unsupported under Windows 10. I wouldn’t waste time troubleshooting it.
