.NET web service - root element missing

    cgishack
      Hello,
I am trying to consume a simple 'Hello world' webservice made in .NET.
It works when i connect to it in an ASP.NET page but not when i use Flex.

I get the following exception when i use flex..
      "System.Xml.XmlException: Root element is missing."

I have googled my face off for 2 days and found nothing with an answer.

      Can anyone offer any help?
FYI: I use the 'Manage Webservice' dialog in Flex to generate the code.
I have also used fiddler to see what the response is from the server.
      It looks ok to me
