    Saving external Files?

    StuL74
I'm a bit stuck on this one! I've made a picture gallery which works well, but now my client wants to add 2 buttons to each page to allow users to download either big or small jpeg versions of the pics to their hard drives.

Ive been playing with buddy api and filextra but with no success. I guess I need to somehow open a dialogue box to allow the user to specify where to save the image, then transfer it from the CD to that location.

      Any ideas? Much appreciated.

If 'download' you mean transfer a file from a CD-Rom to a hard drive,
the free FileXtra4 xtra is the way to go, though buddyapi has a
copyProgress function not included with fileXtra4.

Usually 3 calls to the xta would be made, the save as or select folder
dialog to generate the destination path and the copyfile command to
          transfer the file.

To download from the web, a projector can use lingo downLoadNetThing.
