I assume you updated to 14.1
Have you turned on Hardware acceleration in the Preferences/General if so turn that off.
Can you post a screenshot of your project settings and screenshot of the properties of the clip and the flower.
The first one is the Preferences, I would like the Project settings/general.
I think the problem is, the stills are huge in comparison to the resolution used in the Project Settings.
Why did you pick these settings? Are you using a Flip camera (or something simular or .....?)
If so could you post a screendump of the properties.
What is the final destination of your movie?
I'm building a short Mp4 with a third party MP4 (non HD) motion background and different images PIP on top, some with movement.
It will be projected onto a large screen in 4:3 format, but it's not a high res projector.
If I go back and bring in lower res images of the flower vase and single flower, do you think that might fix it? The other images are large too, no problems with other effects.
I can also go back and re-create that clip following the motion tracking instructions and make sure I did it right, but
like I said, it looks perfect on the preview monitor and in the Quick Export.
What settings does Quick Export use?
If I go back and bring in lower res images of the flower vase and single flower, do you think that might fix it?
Its always worth a try
Quick export takes on the settings of the project
OK, I replaced the large image file of the flower vase with a lower res and now I can output a custom export 640 x 480 and the effect works.
Granted the res is the same for Quick Export, but the effect works in the custom export now, so the high res image was the issue.
It still does not work when I try to export an SD 576, but that's a higher res than the project settings anyway.
So that problem has to be the mismatch of resolution I guess.
Going forward I've learned I just need to better match the size of my image files to my current project whether it's SD, HD or whatever.
You are most welcome.
