If you had to erase your hard drive, I know of no way for any previous work to be on the erased drive
If you had made a copy of your work to an external drive, or if your work was originally on an external drive and not your erased drive, your work should be there to recover
Using LR5 or LRCC is your choice... based on the features you use
That's what I thought. I had saved all my RAW files and exported edited jpegs on external drives, but didn't save recoveries of the (now erased) drive.
Does LRCC have all of the features that LR5 had? Thanks.
