Hi. I am animating a cartoon in After Effects using layered Illustrator files. I have been randomly receiving error messages while working, telling me that my row size is too large. The Ai files are absolutely not too large to be used in AE. The error message somehow randomly stopped but then when I attempted to render a test of a shot from a scene I began receiving the error message again. The first time I encountered this I contacted tech support and they eventually emailed me saying to simply "convert the Ai layers into shape layers.." This is not a reasonable solution as there are far too many layers to go through and convert in addition to the loads of workflow damage that type of "solution" would cause. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
What, exact, version number of AE?
