So hopefully the community or an expert can help me out. Bottomline, I had a client ask us to create a couple cool logos in 3d with animation. We did it in After Effects because they wanted a video. Come to it, they now want it as a real 3d file for their AR app. They said it needed to be in .fbx format.
Is there anyway we can export our AE file into FBX or a route we can take to get there so the FBX animation mimics the AE video we did? Hoping we don't have to start completely over.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Short and sweet: No. The Raytrace 3D stuff cannot be exported in any way since it's generated at runtime and not persistent 3D geometry. Conversely, AE 3D layers are not real geometry nor are any other 3D-ish plug-ins. You have to start over from scratch.
Unless you made it using Cinema 4D Lite that comes with After Effects...
