I'm using Director MX and I am getting bad audio play back on
a Sony Vaio. I'm using Quicktime video with an mp3 audio channel.
If these Quicktime are played out side of Director they play
fine, but do not play well when run through Director. I have only
seen this problem on the Sony Vaio laptop, but do not know
computers well enough to think what to try and do as a fix.
So you have encoded a video file to QuickTime as used mp3
for the audio channel, and when you play this file in
Director the video
plays smoothly but the audio breaks up or is choppy? What
happens if you
use a different codec for audio compression?
Because the quicktime's audio plays fine out side of
Director, I thought it might be an audio Xtra I need to include in
If the sound plays fine just through quicktime, the audio
codec might be OK?
