As I know you should fix it in the image properties
Erm ... thanks GragBag, not sure this was the answer I was looking for ...
The files I need to edit are in Adobe Lightroom / Shared / webengines if that is any help.
You should not edit those files - but assuming you can see them, you can copy individual galleries (ie folders) to your folders for user templates and folders:
- Win7: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Web Galleries
- Mac: USER\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Lightroom\Web Galleries
You may have to create the "Web galleries" folder.
Start by editing galleryInfo.lrweb. You will need to change the title line to something you would be able to recognise in Web, and change the id line to something unique to your gallery. Restart Lr and your gallery should be shown in Web's Layout Style panel - as well as he built-in ones.
You can see an example of a Modified HTML gallery here
This advice is working.
I used your excellent script / gallery to make the necessary changes I needed.
