I have created a photo book in Lightroom 5 on my Mac computer. The book is 175 pages long and contains photos, text and scanned images. I want to expert the book via Blurb in pdf format so that IU have proof read the text and decided on the final arrangements of images etc. When I attempt to save the book I get the following message, "Some photos in the book have transparency. The transparent areas will show as opaque in your book." It then lists some 32 pages showing 1 or more issues. I have read previous forums and have checked the text which is in Myriad Pro throughout. I have put a great deal of work into this book and am frustrated that I cannot resolve these issues myself. I would be grateful for any help, please.
Transparency warnings can be ignored!
These warnings happen with PNG type files if there are transparent areas in the image (like a Logo with clear areas).
Also the "Merge to Panorama" can leave transparent areas about the edges of the panorama image, and although it may be cropped, LR still recognizes the empty areas and shows the warning. I am interested to learn if the new "Boundary Warp" fills the transparent areas! and stops the warning.
I have seen the "transparency warning many times and never had a problem with the image printing in a Blurb book.
