I needed to use InDesign CC for a client's project so I bought a subscription for 2 months. The subscription is long over now but I can't open my original, owned, CS6. Every time I try to open it, its telling me I need a subscription. CS6 is not part of the Creative Cloud, so I dont understand what the issue could be. Meanwhile, Im in need of doing a project for a client and Im crippled.
I have the same problem with Adobe Creative Suite Design & Web Premiu CS6 - CS6 is not part of the Creative Cloud .
I just figured it out. For me, the answer was simply logging out of my Adobe account, which was always running. I then quit the Creative Cloud app. I can now open InDesign CS6. Not sure why nobody mentioned this in the older link you just posted. What a big mess CC is, IMO. Thanks.
